The Bauhaus Dress

This dress is inspired by Bauhaus principles and women’s wear in the 1920s. Specifically, the silhouette references the popular boxy silhouette of the 1920s and the embellishments reference the Bauhaus principles of minimalism and focusing on geometry. The garment was made for the project “Form Follows Function” for the class 3D Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design, taken during the fall quarter of 2024.
